SCHEDULE WITH JOHANNA YOUNG, PA-C, MSPAS, MBA

Meet Johanna

Johanna graduated from Elon University with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, and holds memberships in the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants (NCAPA), and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).

She practices medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology. Her practice includes, but is not limited to, general dermatology (e.g. acne, eczema, psoriasis), excisions of benign and malignant lesions, and aesthetic procedures designed to rejuvenate, restore, and maintain the skin’s appearance (e.g. Botox, laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, PRP).

Prior to becoming a dermatology physician assistant, Johanna worked in plastic and reconstructive surgery, and she thrives on utilizing these skills in her dermatology practice to improve outcomes for her patients.

Regardless if it’s a dermatologic disorder, a skin cancer, or skin changes due to a new phase in life, Johanna has a passion for helping people understand and improve the health of their skin, so they can feel their best in their skin.

Johanna was born and raised in South Florida, but has made North Carolina her home. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, golfing, and spending time with family and friends, including her sweet beagle, Lucy (from Triangle Beagle Rescue).
